ColleageBoard.com-six colleages

Filed under: Uncategorized — ahreumangelajoo @ 9:54 pm

I decided to add six colleages in my organizer which are Creighton University, Miami University: Oxford Campus, Ohio Northern University, Otterbcin College, Samford University, and Xavier University because when I search for colleages that is related to my majors that I want to do, it came out with those colleages. When I grow up, I want to study International Relations or International Business. So, i think these schools are right fit for me. Mostly, size are big and costs are less than $30,000. Also, there were diversity of nations. There is award to international students, as well. Thus, I like these colleages and probably go into these schools later on. If I want to narrow down into only three schools, I would like to go to Creighton University,Miami University: Oxford Campus, and Ohio Northern University.

How to Make it Happen St. John’s University

Filed under: Uncategorized — ahreumangelajoo @ 5:58 pm

When you graduate high school, you would go to college. However, you might not pay your tuituion because of some reasons. Thus, there are some aids exist such as scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study. In order to get some aids, you will need some subtraction, and “Need.” Thus, even if you are poor or not rich enough to pay tutuiton, there are always some ways to you can pay.
A good rule of thumb is to find out the average financial aid package at the institution you are considering and subtrat that amount from the stated tution cost. There are free way to get scholarship such as The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). It gives schools the data they need to build a financial aid package that best fits your need. Many schools need profile. Also, there are CSS financial aid . Therefore, you can get some aid easily for just filling out for some worksheet.
It is hard to get scholarship because a lot of students want scholarship at a same time. However, Veronica Smith said that MEFA loans cover about 75% of her tution. Also, it helped her to study aboroad because her financial aid came with her. So, she suggested to other students especially freshmen to get it. Moreover, she said apply for as many scholarships as you can even if it is not important. Therefore, try to get scholarship.
Need is defined as the difference between the full cost of attendance and estimated family contribution. Also, students need to consider the time to take to their degree. You should also consider the salary you would be earning upon graduation. This is an important variable in the overall cost and should not be overlooked. Therefore, you can get aid by need, as well.
When you go to the private college, how would you afford it? You can pay as aid such as the Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA). YOu can get help from “Need”, as well. Also, when you have to handle forms about getting scholarship, apply it as many as you can. Therefore, you can go to school without worries.

“To be right is not always popular…To be popular is not always right.”

Filed under: Uncategorized — ahreumangelajoo @ 4:49 pm

I do not agree with this statement which is “To be right is not always popular…To be popular is not always right.” I believe that to be right has to be always popular and something that is not always right has to be not popular. There is no reason that to be popular if something is wrong. For example, President Obama said the United States have serious problem for swine flu and it became popular. It became famous because it is right. Thus, anything that is correct has to be popular not something that is wrong.

Why I Chose to Come to Saint Mary Highschool and What I like Most

Filed under: Uncategorized — ahreumangelajoo @ 3:50 pm

I am an international student from Korea. I came in the U.S.A.  in the middle of sixth grade.  I went to St. Mary Elementary School, as well. I did not have idea of  any school before I came in here. To honestly, my uncle who is living here introduce me this school. Originally, he asked to his friends and they told him there is a school in the Rutherford which is St.Mary school. So, my brother and I went to this school. He started in the middle of 9th grade in this high school. When I was going to enter high school, all of my family said go to this school because my brother went to here. Therefore, I chose to come St. Mary Highschool instead of other schools.

I like St. Mary High school than other high school because this school is small. Like Paramus Catholic or Rutherford High school, they are big school, but I do not feel like to go there. I believe that people in this school  are much nicer than other schools. Also, since school is small and students and teachers are not that much, we can know each other better. If I went to Paramus Catholic, I only know some people and some people not. Moreover, teachers can teach students one by one since our school is small, so they can help students after school. Therefore, I like this school most because of small population.

How to Correct Bad Posture

Filed under: Uncategorized — ahreumangelajoo @ 12:07 am

When I googled  “How to Correct Bad Posture”, I found a website called  ”http://www.firehow.com/20090226167/how-to-correct-bad-posture.html.” On this website, I found five most important things that reinforce Mrs. Fagan’s lesson today. These five points are:

1)  You should always have conversation with your doctor about how to sit properly.

2)  You need to stretch. By wall or chair, you need to stretch your body.

3) Strengthen your muscles. Do excercises everyday such as bent-over row.

4) Try to sit up straight without hunching over when you sit down at chair.

5) If you can’t correct your postion, you should go see your doctor to get help from them.

Therefore, I’m sure that if you follow these, you will sit properly next time.
