Harriet Tubman is a person who freed more than 300 fugitive. She was brave, change perception, and who made freedom. She was born in 1822 as slavery. When she was young teen, she started to try to escape as slave. In 1849, she escaped as slave. She guided people to escape from Maryland to Philadelpia by underground. In 1850, she became dangerous so she had a hard time to send people from Maryland to Philadelphia. Thus, she sent people to Canada. Later on she became assistance of Union army. Also, she helped to woman’s suffurage with her friend, Susan B. Anthony. Therefore, she was the one who started liberation of slavery and became sucessful.
